2021 ~ THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!

Alas, as Boris kept saying, there was light at the end of the tunnel but it turned out to be the full beam of an express train.

With the World in such a state of flux, the best approach may be optimism which I realise has been in short supply in 2020. Times have been tough but I now find myself feeling hopeful. So in 2021 I will be making a conscious choice to be optimistic for my family and my country. For the oldest generation who have endured many fearful months alone, the vaccine is the key to them spending time with their beloved grandchildren without fretting whether it’s safe. I am optimistic that we will have a renewed appreciation of all those things we took for granted. Having a cup of tea in my Mum’s kitchen will feel more exotic than a fortnight in the Maldives. I am optimistic about community care and neighbourhood spirit ….notes through doors saying ‘let me help with shopping and medication pick ups’, more of key workers being thanked, more friendly eye contact over masks, more patience in queues. More kindness to fellow humans.

And it’s an optimistic hope that extends beyond the good news of medical breakthroughs and vaccines which will almost certainly halt the pandemic, to more philosophical things. The Ancient Greeks used to say “ it’s not what happens to you but how you react to it that matters” and I think that has been the lesson of 2020. Just as volcanic ash creates the most fertile soil, so it is that the most intense times often lead to the most growth. Without the dark, stars have no way to shine. And next year, whatever light emerges will be there to dazzle us.

One good thing the pandemic has done is cured us of the curse of FOMO. Fear Of Missing Out. Pre-Covid, it had most of us in its grip worrying about not being in the right place at the right time , making us rush to pack in more while always looking over our shoulder and checking our phones. And then everything stopped: we couldn’t move, there was nowhere to go and no one to see, no jobs other people were getting that we might have wanted, no holiday villa that we should be booking , quickly, quickly before it goes. All went quiet and for some us, it was heaven. Missing out taught us how to enjoy what we have and for me that was the delight of my children, home schooling aside!

Mindfulness Gurus are always keen to promote the idea that being in the present and living in the moment can make us happy and I have shared that thought for many a year but now I’m looking forward to being able to plan. Simply that. Planning enables the creative joy of dreaming. It also gives you things to look forward to and helps you to structure time. After months of tourniquet-tight regulations, what bliss to give ourselves over to “ooh, it’s open, shall we pop in?”. As comedian Micky Flanagan puts it, “ I want to go out, out”. (or aht, aht!)

At this stage, I do not know if all my re-scheduled dates planned from April onwards will go ahead as so many venues have offered their premises as vaccination or testing centres whilst others still remain closed and staff furloughed. We try and keep the website updated whenever we have concrete news but theatres will make contact with all and any of you who have purchased tickets to any of my demonstrations.

Until we can all meet in person, stay optimistic, make plans for a kinder life and most important, stay safe.

Wishing you all a better 2021.

Tony, you always have the most gentle and eloquent ways of putting things. I share your hopes and dreams of a better tomorrow while enjoying what I have today. Until we meet again ... in person.

Beautiful , you restored my worth , I’ve lost so much in a space of year , Four family members , friends & tomorrow my old dog as he’s struggling , but on reading your words you have restored some hope in me , simply Thank you 🙏

Perhaps we will emerge more thoughtful of fellow man and the planet wouldnt that be amazing xx

We agree the lights are on and shinning through the darkness we move forward as life never stands still but we are so lucky. I move forward with you and all the other kind souls and we’re growing we always will be. So like the light house we’ll beam out together 😊

Thank you for being as ever the calming voice of reason 🤗 Hoping you will visit Liverpool or Wirral as soon as is safely possible xx 🙏💞

Yes I guess when all this is over we will have a better appreciation of the ground we walk on the time we have. And hopefully more kindness to one and another. A better version of ourselves ...

What Beautiful words you speak Tony thank you I'm hoping soon we will all have a better life enjoying being together the simple things in life are the most important. God bless to all. 🙏😊

Thank you Tony. It is often the small things in life that get taken for granted. I hope when we come out the other side, we are all a lot more patient to other people and their feelings. I long for the day I can cuddle my children/grandchildren. Life is precious and I for one intend to make up for lost time with plenty of hugs. Too many people have been lost where we have not been able to say goodbye, not knowing what others are suffering. I hope people will be kinder to each other. But for now we have to be strong and stay safe xxx💜💜💜

Thanks for your message Tony. This has been a hard year for everyone. It will be nice to have some normalcy in our lives. Love to everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you , Tony. I think we will all value the ordinary things like getting together for a cup of tea with a loved one , so very much more. Although I’ve always enjoyed seeing you live , I’ve loved your online demos , it means I can attend more , I think I’ve done every one through lockdown , usually I only get to see you twice a year, so thank you. Hope you and your family stay safe. X

Thank you Tony for your wonderful words stay safe and well until we can meet together once more in theatres and other venues xx

Beautiful words which resonate....life will turn around once more,we all have a part to play in this...for ourselves and for others...until then we all must try to continue staying safe...my friends and I look forward to seeing you again soon x

Beautiful words of encouragement Tony. We are so fortunate to be living a fairly normal life here in Perth and wishing the same for all in our Universe. Keep safe and look forward to the time when we are free to meet again. Love Jenny x

Hey, tone. I'm glad you think there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's been tough at work as you can imagine. Luckily for me, I am getting the vaccine tomorrow, and I can't wait 😊seeing at how it's been at work, it really was only a matter of time before I would catch anything. I'm going to hope and pray that I can get back to the van real soon xxx

It’s been hard not fully working etc and doing no work but on the plus side doing online spiritual work I’ve met and worked with some amazing people who I probably would never of got a chance to work with from all over the world. It will be good to get out and about but hoping some of these classes carry on online 💜💜💜 Love to you and family 💜💜

Yes, indeed! Looking forward to positivity enveloping the globe! The sun will gradually seep and flow into the darkest areas of our world, filling it with illumination and a new found buoyancy, created by the profundity of our experiences. Phoenix is Rising 🌻

I was discussing the difference positive thinking can make with my colleagues last night. After hearing the stories told by Covid survivors the main pattern appears to be that if you can hear positive messages and have the strength to concentrate the mind on goals however small it appears to help. Looking forward to seeing you again when the darkness of the pandemic passes. Love and light indeed. X

Wow no words can Thankyou enough for all you said Tony u have given hope . I hope still to cu at Widnes in a few months till then love to u and all your family , stay safe Pauline & Emma xxxxxxx

Thank you kind Sir for your very wise words. I was so looking forward to seeing you in Dorset last year. To have the show cancelled was heart breaking. But I have not lost hope. There will be another show. Take care, Stay safe and much love to you and your family.💖

Thankyou Tony for your gentle words of wisdom which rub off on us all, you give us optimism, hope, and above all, reflection on what we have learned and are ready to travel through 2021 with a more open and 'Kind' mind. All the best to you, Stu , Marnie, and Fynn <3

Still don't know how to cope without being able to make plans for the future, near or far, shielding because health conditions, only left my home around a dozen times since middle March 2020, mostly for Diabetes clinic, my 2020 calender is still on the page for March, with the note that I was to see you Tony Stockwell, had been looking forward to it for months, but now I just can't see any future for myself 😥😥😥

Thank you Tony. I'm looking forward to the simple pleasures of being able to meet up with friends and family and enjoy time together again. And yes - let's be optimistic 🙂

keep safe over there I am lucky to be over in NZ where things are looking good

Thanks, for sharing that beautiful intention, Tony! One of the unexpected blessings I received during this Great Pause was the opportunity to connect with you! I hope you'll continue doing some online events and classes. Those of us "across the pond" love you, too! 💚

Thank you Tony Stockwell 🙏 ♥️ One of the silver linings in 2020 was that even tho I wasn’t able to fly to the UK for your workshops, I am now able to still attend as you’ve gone online. It has meant the world for me. 💕 Continue to stay well, sending aloha for the well-being of you and your family, near and dear ones 🤗

I would love to but I can only attend the first couple of hours as it’s the first day of Ann’s development group. Will participants be given a recording?

I'm still trying to convince people that my "Human" is having an experience! I absolutely love this saying. Now, if only my "Human" would stop inflicting pain on itself!

Must we also present ourseles on video, to attend? Will we get a replay to watch later?

This was an absolutely beautiful event 💙 Thank you for putting this together Tony Stockwell 🙏 🌟

If he’s got a message I hope it’s a blooming big apology.

Too expensive Tony.

Thanks so much for the amazing workshop 💚

Is this readings or experience advice. Regards

I wish that looked less like an order of service you had me concerned for a minute 😬x

Any readings xxx

you have me tomorrow

i am free Tony

Happy new year. I have really enjoyed taking classes from you online. One positive note for 2020 is being able to study from teachers with whom I have admired but due to location wasn't able to. Now everything is online and we are truly one world. I am looking forward to taking more classes from you.

Look forward to watching one of your demonstrations again in future Happy new year xxx

Thanks Tony, there was a lot of good that came out last year as well as sadness. Looking forward to seeing you in Narberth again when we get back to some kind of normality ♥️

Last Christmas we were in northern Finland , inside the Arctic circle and this snowflake landed on my scarf. I’d never actually realised the paper snowflakes we make as children were the actual shapes of real snowflakes. Isn’t nature amazing. Merry Christmas everyone. Stay safe ❤️🌲❤️🎅❤️ ... Well done on getting such an amazing photo. Hope this Christmas has been amazing for you in it's own way xx

Beautiful snow crystal, no two are the same. It is rare to have such large ones that you can see so easily. Nature is wonderful eh.

....and apparently they are not really white either - they are clear like water, but the light reflected makes them appear white. Read that somewhere on these pages a few days ago. 🤔

Merry Christmas Tony & family . Yes I have special memories of snowflakes too , of them being on the windows when I was a kid . So beautiful ❄🌟 xx
