“WRITE IT ON YOUR HEART – EVERY DAY IS THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR”

The vision of the Daffs squeezing their way out of the soil brings a time of hope but several weeks into the new season, our more pressing hope is for warmth on our backs and the speedy arrival of Summer. The TV and magazines tempt us with special offers of summer holidays pushing us to the next season before we’ve even enjoyed the current one. And then, once we get to Summer, Winter is uppermost in our minds as we’re bombarded by Christmas Ads! We’re so busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us that we don’t take time to enjoy where we are. We are cheating ourselves out of today. Today is calling to us, trying to get our attention, but we’re stuck on tomorrow, and today trickles away like water down a drain. We wake up the next morning and that today we wasted is gone forever. It’s now yesterday. Some of those moments may have had wonderful things in store for us, but now we’ll never know.

So, I’m playing safe by sort of writing about the weather but really my theme is how we should make the here and now the most important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused, it should be the primary focus of your life.

Not wanting to state the blooming obvious but if there’s one thing I have learned as a Medium, it’s that nobody is here forever. You have to live for the moment, each and every day . . . the here and the now. So many of the grieving Mothers, Fathers, Wives and Husbands I read for have been consumed with “If only’s”. If only I had taken my son to Disneyland, kissed him before he went to work, told her I love her: or they feel guilty about making promises to their loved ones that they couldn’t keep when they were alive. The passing of a loved one brings out so many obvious regrets but how much more wise it would be to use that time adoring our remaining families, cherishing our friends and living our lives. Fortunately, that is what a message from a loved one in Spirit has the capacity to assist with, bringing comfort and proof that they are safe and well and whole. The fact that isn’t too late to tell those in Spirit that they are loved.

It is my belief and my experience that whenever a person in grief ceases to live with regrets of the past, life can then flow at ease.

Have a great day. Tony X
