LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
If coming to Soul Space by train – depart from London Liverpool Street. Billericay is on the Southend Victoria Line. Trains run frequently but occasionally on Sundays engineering work means a restricted service so please do check in advance. Leave the station on the ticket office side, turn right and head up to high street. Head right up the high street (over pedestrian train bridge) and right into Western Road. Then take another right into Tanfield Drive (a very small private road) which turns into West Park Crescent. Soul Space is in the bottom corner. This is approximately a 5-minute walk from Billericay Station.

If coming by car Billericay is about 15 minutes from the M25, taking exit 29 for the A127 towards Southend-On-Sea. Leave the A127 at the exit for Basildon and head up Noak Hill Road into Billericay and the high street. Driving down from the top of Billericay High Street, take a left at the crossroads (with traffic lights) onto Western Road. Very quickly on the left there is a turning into Tanfield Drive, just after a shop called CRYSTAL PRINT. This looks like a tiny private turning onto a small housing area and there is a signpost for ‘Billericay Spiritualist Church’. Follow Tanfield Drive down and to the left and we are at the bottom corner. If you go into Westfield Park Drive you have gone one turning too far!

If you are coming from the very bottom of Billericay High St into town from the Stockbrook Country Club end, you will turn right in Western Road at the high street crossroads.

NOTE: The postcode for SOUL SPACE is not the best one to use for SatNavs, as takes cars past the turning and onto the housing estate at the next turning. The best postcode to use for SatNavs is CM12 9DZ, this is the postcode of the shop at the entrance to Tanfiled Drive. Then just turn right into Tanfield Drive and we are at the bottom on the right.
 
PARKING
We have enough parking for around 12 cars. Please park around the side of our new centre. It could be that you park in front of another attendee’s vehicle, but this isn’t a problem as people leave events at the same time.

If you are attending a workshop, circle or 121 reading there should be no problem parking in our small car park. In the event you don’t get parked in our car park (which will be the case for larger events and demonstrations) there is a restaurant/bar car park on Western Road on the left, just after the turning for Tanfield Drive.  This is pay and display and may have a maximum parking time in place depending on the time.

There is also the main town car park just a few minutes’ walk away and off the main high street, this is large and usually has spaces at all times. This is a pay and display car park, though is occasionally free Sundays.

Billericay Train Station also has its own car further down the high street to Soul Space (5 mins walk away). Parking at the Station will be cheaper and more readily available on evening and weekends.
