It seems remiss of me to not to at least acknowledge the turning of another year, as we find ourselves already racing at speed towards the end of January in a blink! As they say, time really does not slow for any of us! So I ask myself, what can I do about it?
For me, time is a factor that I think about more often these days, as part of growing older it is more important to make sure that I’m living purposefully each day. I enjoyed the end of my year spending time with my family, using this time as a period of rest and recuperation, before stepping forward into this new year, revitalized once more, with a host of new ideas for the year ahead.
This year is somewhat of a special one for me personally, as I celebrate 40 years as a Medium! From my earliest days of development, little could I have expected to have had the journey that followed, after stepping into a small Spiritualist Church on Canvey Island, all those years ago. The years that have followed, have been exciting, expansive and certainly enjoyable – but like all things, they have not gone by without challenges, personal growth and the incredible support from others.
I feel blessed to be in a position to share my experiences in a series of talks that will be online soon, for you to join me as I recall how it all started. I’ll be sharing stories of past and present colleagues who helped support and shape my career, and will take time to look towards the future, as I share my thoughts on the exciting expansion opportunities that we now have in building upon the foundations of the spiritual pioneers of the past. I hope you will join me for one or all of these intimate evening talks, as I will open up the floor to questions as well. Keep your eye out towards the end of the month for these!
In writing this newsletter, I also would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the many other World events that greeted us at the start of this year. I know many of you have been facing challenges and I want to acknowledge and reach out energetically to say I’m here for you all in these troubled and challenging times. I know and truly believe the Spirit realm are walking with us every day, even in these times, yet for our earth-selves this may not always feel as close as we would like. Now is a time where greater kindness, compassion and respect must be shared by us, as we seek to diminish the dark times by overwhelming them with light. Let’s try to keep our mood as optimistic as possible, sharing joy and abundance of love with as many people as is possible and in our own unique way.
I wanted to bring you some thoughts to consider as we continue our shared adventure in this life – here goes – all stolen from others I’m sure, but worthy of mention…
There may only be one of you, but you are more than enough.
A kind thought resonates at a higher frequency, so let’s lift the vibration of Earth together, in at least one kind act a day!
Forgiveness for ignorance is a true act of compassion.
To expand your light is not to diminish another’s.
There is no limit on your talents, but only a limit in your belief in yourself.
Smile and the World smiles with you.
